Appointments
Please have the following information and/or documents available at your Tax Preparation appointment.
- Identification and birth dates for taxpayer and spouse: Driver’s License and Social Security cards
- Identification and birth dates for all dependents: Social Security cards
- Prior year tax return
- W-2s from all sources of employment
- All 1099 documents for various other forms of income: 1099-MISC for Independent Contractor income, 1099-INT for Bank Interest, 1099-DIV for Dividend Income, 1099-R for Distributions from Retirement Plans
- K1 Statements for Interest in a Partnership, S-Corporation or Trust
- Unemployment Compensation statement
- Social Security Benefits statement
- Mortgage Interest statement
- Real Estate Tax and Personal Property Tax statements (including automobile registration statements)
- Income and Expenses for a business you own
- Income and Expenses for rental property you own
- Alimony paid and received
- Form 8832 or Divorce Decree for non-custodial parent claiming a dependent child
- Cost basis for each security sold during the tax year
- Receipts for Charitable Contributions
- Estimated Tax payment amounts
- Nonresident Aliens need to bring Visa and passport and any other work authorization documentation
- Any statements that advise “Tax Document, Do Not Discard!!”
- *NEW* Please provide the dates and amounts of any Stimulus payments you have received
- *NEW* If you received advance child tax credit payments, please provide your IRS letter 6419.
